Cameron Lee Savage, known professionally as Cameron Lee Horace was born in Gibraltar; moving back to the United Kingdom with his family when he was one year old. As a child, Cameron was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and lives with various challenges and anxieties that others may not be able to see.
With a vivid imagination and interest in the arts, Cameron grew up in the rural landscape of Leicestershire taking photographs and making short films from the age of eight. Cameron started his career within radio in 2011 and now holds over seven years of experience in community radio broadcasting and live media; having both previously presented and produced shows for Takeover Radio 103.2fm. In addition to working as a citizen journalist documenting the 2012 Olympics Torch Relay through film and radio mediums.
Towards the end of 2019, Cameron’s short documentary film Aspectrum – What is Autism to me? Was transmitted on TogetherTV, and screened at the Pheoenix Independent Cinema, Leicester. Cameron has recently completed on Living as Leo, a short coming of age comedy with 3D animated elements and in pre-production of The Other Woman Starring Sophie Colquhoun and Lisa Ronaghan.
